Work to make and keep great relationships with real estate agents and brokers in your area. That way, when it comes time to bid, they will already know how perfect of a fit you are for the specific property you are looking at.
- Make a strong offer. When you do make your offer, make it a strong one. You want real estate agents and brokers to know that you are serious and that you are in it for the long haul!
- Be ready and prompt. Do not make an offer until you are completely ready and prompt for the immediate next steps that will be necessary. Have your finances lined up, get inspectors ready for scheduling and make the process as seamless as possible for the agent and broker.
- Buy as is. When you are looking at a house, the more red flags that you throw up, the less an agent and broker will want to work with you, as the process can sometimes become more drawn out than it should be. If you are completely sold on the home and area, purchase as is.
